Cellulite

Cellulite is the term used to describe fatty deposits mainly present on the thigh and buttock area. The skin is usually lumpy with dimpled appearance.

The common contributors to cellulite is slow blood circulation and lymphatic drainage combined with poor diet and lack of exercise causing insufficient elimination of toxins from the skin tissue.

Unfortunately there is no miracle cure for this one we have tried the majority of what is available. Cellulite is extremely difficult to get rid of but the appearance can be greatly improved with a combination of lifestyle changes including diet, exercise and daily body brushing. Perseverance serves best on this one, you do need to remember cellulite did not appear over night nor does it disappear over night!

Water intake is imperative for efficient elimination of toxins from the body as a rule an adult should drink at least 2 litres of water per day, with the daily recommend water intake being 35mls of water per kg of body weight.

Body brushing daily on dry skin is one of the most cost effective ways of improving skin appearance on the thighs and buttocks. Use your body brush before showering always working upwards towards the heart. Body brushing improves blood and lymph circulation, excellent for skin exfoliation and generally improving the feel and appearance of the skin. Topical treatments as listed below have stimulating ingredients that give a little extra help in treating the appearance of cellulite and firming the skin.
