Anyone lucky enough to have a normal skin needs to appreciate the delicate balance required in maintaining this skin type. Normal will not always be normal if the skin is neglected, treated with incorrect cosmetics or exposed to the elements unprotected.

There is a perception out there (perhaps formed from the products marketed to combination skin) that combination skin is always an excessively Oily T-Zone. In turn most people considering themselves to have combination skin over treat the skin with harsh products aimed primarily at reducing sebum production and not treating the normal or dry areas of the skin.

It is essential for normal / combination skin to maintain moisture levels while protecting the skins natural protective barrier whilst also addressing any areas prone to dryness or excessive oil production.
